Cross Training

begins it's final session tonight, March 18, 2009.

Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evenings by one of four groups (the Youth, David Stilwell's group, Bill Clark's group, Barry Rager's group).  The church provides the food and members of each group are responsible for preparing, serving and cleaning up on their assigned Wednesday.

The first Wednesday of the month will be the Youth's.  This is the only time of the month you should bring your wallet with you, and that's just to give them a donation you're comfortable with.

The second Wednesday of the month will be Group 1 (David Stilwell); the third will be Group 2 (Bill Clark); and the fourth will be Group 3 (Barry Rager).  When we have a month with five Wednesdays, the fifth Wednesday will be pizza night with everyone chipping in to clean up.

We will try to get a menu posted ahead of time but it doesn't always work out so please, just bear with me.  Please check the Home page under "Happening This Week" to see what's cooking for Wednesday night.  If I know, you'll find it there!

If you've reviewed the studies on the right side of this page and are trying to figure out which one to take, it's probably a pretty rough decision.  Never fear though, our fearless leader, Amy, Amy has put us on a rotation.  Each quarter the class will rotate to a new group.  By the beginning of summer, you should have been through all of the listed Bible studies.

Downpour

Downpour

Are you spiritually dry
and thirsty for more of God?

The landscape of our lives has become dry and scorched. But heaven is bursting with the blessings God wants to rain down on us - not a drizzle but a deluge.

With its powerful call to revival, James MacDonald's 12-session Bible study leads believers to lift up their eyes and return to the Lord.  When we do, He will heal us . . . revive us . . . and restore us.  That was the message God gave Hosea, and it's still true today. "

Group 3 - Barry Rager
Get Uncomfortable

Get Uncomfortable
Celebs give away millions to help.  The government and non-profits do their part.  But where is the church when it comes to social injustice?  Are we all too afraid to get uncomfortable?  If you've ever considered that your faith in Christ and your concern for the poor and suffering go hand-in-hand, then reclaim the mission!

This study will guide to examine the character of God, explore the true condition of the world, uncover misconceptions about poverty, and learn how to use the power of the Holy Spirit.  By offering practical ways to make that impact and providing a biblical link between evangelism and social action, this group will understand what God wants His followers to do for "the least of these."
